Alice McKnight, M.D. is a native Washingtonian. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from The Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Howard University. Dr. McKnight is Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the Old Dominion Medical Society and the North American Menopause Society.
From her days as a Chief Resident to the present, her major focus encompassed all aspects of women's reproductive health from adolescents through post menopause. Her commitment to women's issues continued while practicing at The Magee Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and at the Flora Krause Casey Clinic in Alexandria Virginia. Dr. McKnight is a senior member of the practice with a great deal of experience in various gynecological and obstetrical conditions; as well as in office and minimally invasive procedures. Philosophically, she promotes patient education and consultation.
